Roman has pretty much covered it all: beach-read romantic comedies; horrific romantic tragedies; and cross-genre adventures like crime/police/detective, mysteries, suspense, multicultural, and LGBTQ.

You’ll find stories of diving for Spanish treasure, robbery on the high seas, drug trafficking in the Everglades and Florida Keys, organized prostitution, women’s fiction with multiple heroines, surviving active volcanoes in New Zealand, tribal war in the jungles of Costa Rica, a horrific mining war in Alaska, a battle with the Taliban in Afghanistan, the rescue of seventy-two Cuban refugees at sea, the rescue of Houma Native Americans from the bayous of Louisiana, a farewell concert in Miami that rivaled Woodstock, N.Y., and much more.

Roman traveled worldwide, conducting research for his books and stories in order to enhance his credibility with readers. As if that wasn’t enough, he has hand-painted nearly fifty illustrations for designated chapters in his books. So far, four of these have been awarded ribbons at art shows and competitions. The original acrylic-on-canvas paintings are available for purchase, as well as digital, high-resolution prints.
