El Nino – Desperate Planet is a book of anthologies, individual fictitious stories based on the true

realtity of a planet becoming rapidly depleted of potable drinking and irrigation water. Each story

has a different setting geographically, but with the same theme. The regions with a history of water

issues are all real, and the author has travelled extensively to investigate this history with the farmers

and ranchers, hydro-electric dam engineers, tribal chiefs in the jungles, politicians, educators, resort

owners/managers, city infrastructure engineers, maintainence engineers with reservoirs and aquaducts,

and anyone else with knowledge of the subject. Understandably, it took years and many miles to

collect all of this historical information to galvanize my credibility with my readers. In the end, the

time, miles logged, and the wonderful people I met along the way were nothing short of remarkable.
